Susan Nolf, of Longley Place, told the board Monday that she was concerned the district had cut an elementary counselor, a middle school special education position, and nurses' summer hours while retaining the assistant superintendent position. "Taxpayers deserve transparency, accountability, and budget decisions that prioritize students, staff, and the district's educational mission," she said, requesting the board address the tradeoffs publicly.
